Rituals and Traditional Body Forms

Rituals and traditional body forms are chosen as vehicles leading to the development of a ‘Spiritual Theatre’.

This research will eventually lead to a development of traditional and ritualistic modalities of expression in arts, which elevate the states and theatrical experience of both performer and audience to a plane beyond mundane recognition or expectations. A whole new spiritual plane is created in the performance space for performer and audience alike to reflect, absorb, question, feel and emotionally and physiologically challenge the perceptions they have become accustomed to.
